For my final project I want to make a series of several story-based pages in Bitsy that address social issues, as well as a series of Bitsy stories that are more lighthearted and traditional story telling narratives in a creative way. I want to address things such as climate change, hunger, gun reform, feminism, etc. in a way that has a clear position, but that walks through the scenes in a more visual sense. As for the others, I want to include a series of purely creative stories that don't necessarily have a political stance, but are fun pieces nonetheless.
In terms of creating two different series', I want them to serve the purpose of showing there are creative ways to portray narratives while still getting across a message. I think it's important that some of these stories show deeper things and continue to have a certain professionalism, while others can just exploit the program for what it is: something of a video game.
I don't particularly think there's anything I need to learn to complete this, however I think it would be beneficial to add larger chunks of text into the "game" format, as well as changing the avatar and scenery a little bit more (which just involves messing with the html file). Also there should be music for each piece. And that's it!
